31 May 2018, Ph.D. student Matthew Halley was recognized as a College of Arts and Sciences finalist for Drexel University's Graduate College Research Excellence Award at the Graduate Student Day awards ceremony.

April 2018, B.S./M.S. student Emily Ostrow was awarded a grant through US National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP), which will fund three years of stipend and cost of education allowance for her Ph.D. research at the University of Kansas.

April 2018, B.S./M.S. student Emily Ostrow was a US Department of State Fulbright Scholarship Semi-Finalist/Alternate.

12 July 2017, Ph.D. student Matthew Halley was awarded the William L. McLean III Fellowship for 2017-2018, in support of his original graduate research in Ornithology.

2 March 2017, Lab volunteer Monica Carlson was admitted to the Ecology Evolution and Behavior Ph.D. program at Princeton University and will join the lab of Dr. Cassie Stoddard.

17 November 2016, Ph.D. student Matthew Halley was awarded the Julian Potter Award by the Delaware Valley Ornithological Club, which honors members who have made an outstanding contribution to the field of Ornithology.
